# 4.2  For Borrowers - Access Liquidity Without Selling

A fundamental frustration for long-term cryptocurrency investors is the need to sell their holdings to access cash. Selling means realizing taxable gains, losing future upside, and potentially missing out on appreciation. LiquidX solves this by allowing holders to use their EON or LQX tokens as collateral and borrow USDT against them - keeping their long position while still accessing liquidity.

* Deposit collateral (EON or LQX tokens)
* Receive up to 75% of collateral value as a USDT loan (called the Loan-to-Value ratio, or LTV)
* Use the borrowed USDT for any purpose
* Repay the loan at any time to reclaim your collateral
* No credit check, no KYC for basic functions, no approval process
